Carpets offer a wide range of colours, textures and patterns which give us a free hand in decorating. Carpets can be adapted to any lifestyle to any use. It offers a rich array of colours and subtle nuances. It can be combined with any decorative style from ultra classic to ultra contemporary.

Easy to lay:

Easy to lay, carpets outdistance all other floor covering (cement, tiles, hardwood flooring) It is easier to lay and can be laid on any surface. It camouflages surface irregularities and therefore preparation can often be avoided.

Easy to maintain: Forget the broom, bucket and mop!!!

It's easier to vacuum the carpet once or twice a week to keep it clean than it is to make sure nothing falls on the carpet. To give your carpet a quick pep up, try a lightly perfumed cleaning powder.

The air quality is improved as carpet fibres trap dust particles until you vacuum, whereas on a hard floor, dust particles fly around with the slightest breeze.

Warm:

Compared to all other types of floor covering, textile floors improve thermal comfort. Carpets are not only warm to look at, they also help to conserve heat. With their feeble conductivity, they act as thermal insulators,. Thanks to this, 10 to 12% of heat which would have been lost with hard flooring, is conserved. Energy consumption reduced by 4 to 5%! A visible different in the electricity bill!

Comfortable:

Activities on the floor can be a real pleasure! Walking barefoot, laying down, doing gymnastics, playing and reading are all delights that no other floor covering offers.

From an orthopaedic point of view, carpets are by far the best floor covering. The supple and elastic textile fibres absorbs shock when walking and alleviates joint pain. It is highly recommended to walk barefoot on textile floors as this is the equivalent to natural reflex massage.

Silent:

It is the best floor covering for noise reduction, extremely appreciated in blocks of flats. Carpet absorbs noise both inside and outside: footsteps, bangs, furniture being moved,…. It also absorbs the sound of voices, conversations or music et so reduces the stress that can be caused by a squeaky board or the tip-tap of high heels on a tiled floor. A real advantage when you take into consideration that noise is cited as the n° 1 nuisance in Europe.

It is not a coincidence that we find carpet in most places that demand a certain level of silence and comfort. (cinemas, restaurants, offices).
The noise caused by shock (impact, dropping objects ) is reduced by 25 to 30 dB (decibels) Hard flooring reduces noise by 5 to 15 dB.

Apart from impact noise absorption, textile flooring has other sound insulation qualities. The lifespan of a noise entering a carpeted room is halved compared to a room with hard flooring.

By choosing carpeting, you ensure a certain level of safety.
Carpets are supple and don't slip. At home and at work it is vital to avoid accidents.
Statistics show that there are less falls on textile floors than on hard floors and that the falls are less serious, in particular for young children and the elderly.

Healthy:

Carpeting in apartments is not in itself a cause of allergies. In the case of dust allergies textile floors are often wrongly accused! In fact they have certain anti allergy properties thanks to the textile structure.
