Fire resistant
Fire resistant doesn't measure the resistance against cigarette burns. It calculates, in the case of a fire, the flammability and the speed of conflagration in a firmly secured floor covering

Requirements
Fire resistant category is obligatory for all public buildings (shops, office buildings, hötels, restaurants etc.) and for accommodation in high rise buildings.
Private housing and accommodation are not subject to this requirement .

More about GUT

The first objective of the GUT is to optimise the manufacturing and recycling process in order to obtain the best possible protection for man and the environment.
Particular attention is paid to:

  1. Ensure that materials used during the production process influence the elimination possibilities at the end of the product's life cycle.
  2. The dying process: the principle objective being to reduce the amount of water used and minimise the risk of effluent pollution.
  3. Types of backing: research is continuing into products with reduced industrial emissions.
  • Efficient management of resources, raw materials and waste materials.
  • Verification and reduction of air pollution, water usage and effluents and of energy consumption.
  • We undergo frequent inspections and production audits and strict analysis of the finished product in order to establish the absence of any noxious substances or any elements likely to cause odour emissions.
